Nor have we ever received a demand to secretly plant a means of access into our systems without users' knowledge.

How to read this page
In some cases the law forbids us from even saying that we have received a demand. That is why the statements above carry meaning only while they are there. If one day the statements above disappear, or are not updated on the scheduled date, please read that in itself as a signal.
- We update this page on the 11th of every month.
- If an update is more than 2 weeks late, you may assume something has happened.
- We never soften the statements by rewording them. We either remove them or leave them exactly as they are.
Even if we receive a demand, there is little to hand over
The only connection records we hold are two things, connection time and country, and they are deleted after 30 days. We do not store usage on our servers. For the sites you visit, there is no code that stores them at all. From your connecting IP address, we use only the country. However, where the relevant laws require retention, we store only the minimum items those laws specify, separately and encrypted, for the statutory period, and then destroy them. What we store is set out in a table in our Privacy Policy.
