Refund Policy
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
This page explains how we handle order withdrawal and refunds as set out in the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. It has the same content as Section 5 of the Terms of Service, and if a dispute arises, it is read in the way that is more favorable to the user.
1. What we sell
- Product name — Godroad VPN 1-month (30-day) pass
- Price — KRW 9,900 for 30 days (VAT included).
- Service period — 30 days from the payment date. Only if you have turned on automatic payment does it renew automatically every 30 days; if you have not turned it on, or you turn it off, it ends at the end of that period. Even when it is on, you can turn automatic payment off with one tap in My account.
- Free trial — when it ends, you are not charged automatically. To keep going, you pay for a pass yourself.
- Payment method — on this site and in the Android, Mac and Windows apps, KakaoPay (payment processing by PortOne). In the iPhone app, Apple in-app purchase; refunds for it follow Section 9 below.
- Delivery — the subscription is turned on for your account as soon as you pay, and you can connect in the app right away.
2. Order withdrawal — when we refund the full amount
- If, within 7 days of the date you paid, you have not connected even once, we refund the full amount without asking for a reason.
- If a service outage kept you from using most of the period you paid for, we refund the full amount.
- If you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the full amount as soon as we confirm it.
Because this is a digital service, we could have set a rule that "once you connect even once, you cannot withdraw", but we chose not to. The day-by-day calculation in Section 3 below applies instead.
3. If you have already used the service — for the days remaining
- If you have already connected, we refund the remaining period, calculated by the day.
- Formula — amount paid ÷ total number of days in that month × number of days remaining. A partial day is rounded up.
- We count from the day you request the refund.
4. When we do not refund
- If we confirm that you resold your account or access rights, or handed them to someone else
- If you attacked other systems through our servers or sent spam in bulk
These two cases violate Section 6 of the Terms of Service, so we do not refund the remaining period. We do not refuse a refund for any other reason.
5. How to request a refund
- Email us at info@grafydesign.com. Just include the account number shown on your My account screen — you do not need to give a reason.
- We also accept requests by phone: 070-8633-7222 (weekdays 10:00–18:00)
We do not block online requests or accept requests by phone only, and there is no condition that you must give a reason for your request to be accepted.
6. How quickly we process it
- We process your request within 3 business days of receiving it. If it takes longer, we add late-payment compensation at 15% per year for the number of days of delay. (Article 12(3) of the Content User Protection Guidelines)
- If you paid by card, we process it by cancelling the card approval, and depending on the card company it may take 3–5 more business days.
- The same period applies to simple payment services (such as KakaoPay).
- Once processed, the money goes back to the payment method you used. We do not send it anywhere else.
7. Automatic ending is not the same as a refund
- You can turn off automatic payment with one tap on the account screen. The period you have already paid for stays usable until it ends, and then ends automatically.
- If you cannot open the account screen, contact us at 070-8633-7222 (weekdays 10:00–18:00) or info@grafydesign.com and we will turn it off the same day. All we need is your account number.
- A refund means getting back money you have already paid. It follows Sections 2 and 3 above.
- Simply waiting for the period to end does not give you a refund. If you want a refund, contact us as described in Section 5.
8. If payment for a new pass fails
A failed payment is not added to your service period and is not charged separately. If your existing pass still has time left, you keep using it until its end date, and if you need a new pass, you can pay again.
9. If you paid through the App Store in the iPhone app
- If you subscribe inside the iPhone app with Apple in-app purchase, Apple handles payment and billing. So refunds are also handled by Apple, under the procedure Apple sets, and the calculations in Sections 2 and 3 above do not apply (Terms of Service 4-5, effective 2026-10-03).
- You cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device. Even if you cancel, you can use the period already paid for until it ends.
- If Apple issues a refund or the subscription ends, your service period is shortened by the same amount.
The full conditions are in the Terms of Service, and what we store is in the Privacy Policy.
